We will have an early start commencing at 9 AM, please arrive early to allow yourself comfortably prepare your gear and to take your time before the race kicks off


  • 6:45 - Kayaks are ready to unload at HQ

  • 11:30 - First teams expected to finish
  • 12:30 - All teams expected to finish
  • 12:30 - Kayak loading
  • 13:00 - Presentation and lucky draw

Compulsory equipment to be carried at all times:

- First aid kit: 2 crepe (snake) bandages, min 5 cm width, 6 wound closure strips, 1 triangular bandage, 2 non stick wound dressing pads. – per team (can be purchased at the start)

- Mobile phone - one per team 

- Minimum total 0,5 l of water per team at the start of each leg

- Timing chip per person locked on your wrist (provided by organisers)



Mountain bike leg compulsory equipment:

- Mountain bike or commuter bike per person with race bib attached. Bikes are available for hire. Road bikes are not recommended

- Helmet per person (also available for hire with your bike)



kayakKayaking leg compulsory equipment:

- PFD (BYO or hire is avaialbe during registration for $5)

- Kayak (provided by organisers, or you can use your own)

- 2 double-ended paddles (BYO or hire is avaialbe during registration for $5)


Recommended items:

-Waterproof pouch for the race information

-Compass (navigation is easy but might be handy). Compas hire and sale are available for the event

-Map board for the bike. Map board hire and sale are available during online registration

-Off-road running shoes

-Nutrition for the entire event- some snacks and/or gels, electrolytes
